THE MET Office has issued a yellow "severe" weather warning for Bradford.

It is in place for Sunday, October 6, between midnight and 6pm.

Heavy rain is expected during this time, which could cause transport disruption and some flooding.

Journey times are set to be longer due to spray and flooding on roads.

Bus and train services are also expected to be impacted.

The MET Office also warns it is likely that some businesses and homes will be flooded, with power supplies and other services also interrupted.

The warning covers a large stretch of the country too, with only the west, and much of the south, escaping the issues.

It is the second weather warning issued for Bradford in a matter of weeks.

On Monday, September 23, the MET Office notified people of widespread rain, with the threat of flooding.

It only becomes cloudy and wet later in the day.
