YORKSHIRE synth-pop band Fiat Lux are heading to Bradford for their first gig in 30 years.

The gig is at St Clement’s Church in Barkerend, which has original Arts & Crafts ceilings, friezes, mozaics and paintings. The concert is in collaboration with Bradford promoters Les Hall and Nick Hall who run ‘Gigs In Unusual Venues’.

“Fiat Lux are often cited as inspiration for acts such as Black and A-Ha,” said Les. “They are Steve Wright and David P Crickmore, are back with new material, following the success of the reissued Secrets 2017. They released It’s You, the first new material for over 30 years, in May and an album, Saved Symmetry. The original band were supported by Radio 1 DJs such as Annie Nightingale and Janice Long.
