CHANGES to the plans to turn the former Odeon building in Bradford into a live music venue once again, have been lodged.

Bradford Live has submitted the revisions to Bradford Council for planners' consideration.

The main change involves repositioning some of the back of house areas which are being moved from the existing structure and will be incorporated within a servicing extension block running along Thornton Road.

The block itself will be clad in a terracotta coloured brick on the lower floor and the upper level will be metal clad in a variegated terracotta colour, with a large window.

Kirsten Branston, director of Bradford Live said: "The strip out of the old cinemas has given us more information, allowing the team to further develop and improve the design. We have taken the opportunity to revisit the configuration of the back of house spaces which will provide significant operational benefits for the completed venue."
