TIME is running out to enter the Telegraph & Argus’ inaugural Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Awards.

The awards will celebrate success, recognise achievement and highlight the innovative people, venues and destinations throughout Bradford district who are making the area a great place to shop, dine and spend leisure time.

Held in partnership with The Broadway shopping and leisure complex, the awards offer an unrivalled opportunity to associate your brand and your people with this new and exciting awards programme.

Entries can be made by either the companies or individuals themselves, or by third parties.

Steve Lowe, LOCALiQ's sales director, said: "We're really pleased to be bringing the first Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Awards to Bradford.

"It's part of the growing retail, leisure and hospitality economy that The Telegraph & Argus and LOCALiQ are working hard with retailers across the city to make it a better place to shop, to dine and to visit.

"We're really excited to be working with the Broadway to bring the first event to be held as a gala dinner in the middle of the Broadway on a Sunday evening.

"A logistical challenge but one that I'm sure on the night people will find it fun, entertaining and exciting."

There will be ten categories to win on the night.

Fashion Store of the Year will recognise any retailer, large or small, independent or national, that is making a big noise in the fashion retail world - including branches of national companies

Retailer of the Year (non-fashion) will recognise any retailer, large or small, independent or national.

New Business/Retailer of the Year will recognise those businesses which have gone from from strength to strength within two years.

Bar /Restaurant of the Year will showcase the business that puts their bar or restaurant in the forefront of their industry for its outstanding service, cuisine and congenial surroundings.

Hair/Beauty Business of the Year is for any business delivering excellence in the hairdressing and beauty sector.

Businesses that put the area on the map as a wonderful place to live and visit should apply for Leisure Venue of the Year.

Hotel of the Year is aimed at locally based hotels providing truly memorable guest experiences and demonstrating excellence across every aspect of the business.

The Customer Service Award will reward a company, or member of staff or team within an organisation, that goes above and beyond the call of duty for their customers.

Team Member of the Year will recognise any employee who has gone that extra mile and whose contribution to a team can't be ignored.

Manager of the Year will celebrate imaginative and creative manager whose individual contribution to the success of a business is by investing in employees.
