Bradford Tree of Life Synagogue in Bowland Street
SIR - On Thursday, September 19, Eric Broug gave a talk at the Synagogue on ‘Islamic Design’, many examples of which are incorporated in the iconic building in Bowland Street. Though of universal interest it was especially appreciated by Muslims, many of whom came and obviously felt extremely comfortable in a Jewish ambience.
This was engendered by the close Interfaith relations which have been established in Bradford where adherents of different faiths mingle with each other without let or hindrance. Christians and Hindus attended too.
Long may it continue.
