A VAN was “severely damaged” in a fire in Bournemouth late on Wednesday night.
Firefighters were called to the fire in Ascham Road, Charminster, at 10.46pm.
The fire reportedly involved a DPD delivery van.
One fire crew from Springbourne attended and found the van to be “well alight”.
The fire was extinguished using two hose reel jets.
The stop message was received at 11.04pm.
Dorset Police said: "We were called at 10.50pm on Wednesday 18 September 2019 by the fire service to reports of a van on fire in Ophir Road in Bournemouth.
"An investigation is underway into the cause of the fire."
