Bradfordians with no previous acting experience have the chance to be cast in "key roles" in an upcoming movie if they impress at an open casting call in the city this weekend.
The casting call, for an unspecified feature film, will take place at the Thornbury Centre, Leeds Old Road, BD3, between 1pm and 5pm this Saturday (September 21).
Specific people the production is looking for are:
- Girls and boys aged 10-14 with Pakistani heritage
- Slovakian and Eastern European families with children aged up to 12
- Caucasian girls aged 10-12
- Young caucasian men to play characters aged 17 to 20
The event has been organised by London-based Shaheen Baig Casting, who say that "absolutely no previous acting experience" is necessary - "just enthusiasm and interest".
Anyone successfully cast will be paid for their role.
To try your luck, just turn up on the day - but be advised that under-16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
