JUDITH Cummins MP (Lab, Bradford South) has met the new Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police, John Robins, to discuss key priorities for policing in Bradford South.
She said: “It’s important that the police are supported to do their job.
“I am clear that this is only possible with proper funding from government.
“We need a commitment for long-term funding, not short-term gimmicks, to tackle the issues that I see across our communities.”
John Robins, a former Bradford Superintendent who was appointed as Chief Constable of West Yorkshire Police in July, said: “It was good to meet with Judith Cummins MP to discuss policing and community safety within Bradford South.”
