A FAMILY escaped unhurt when their home caught fire this afternoon.
Firefighters from Stanningley, Bradford and Rawdon were called to the home in Summerfield Avenue, in Stanningley, at 4pm on Tuesday.
Two adults and three children live in the property and were unharmed after the blaze triggered their smoke alarms.
The fire is believed to have been started by a tealight candle, which caused extensive smoke damage throughout the home.
