POLICE have issued a list of possible warning signs of sexual exploitation to help protect more vulnerable people.
Sexual Exploitation comes in many forms, included sexual exploitation and sexual abuse, forced prostitution and the abuse of children for the production of child abuse images and videos.
Effects on health may include displays of substance misuse and physical or emotional trauma.
Victims may be forced, intimidated or coerced into providing sexual services or subjected to abduction, assault or rape.
They may not travel freely such as being picked up and dropped off at work locations by another person. The victim may be moved between brothels, sometimes from city to city, and sleeping on work premises.
Please report if you suspect or know of any intelligence to the Modern Slavery Helpline, 08000 121 700.
