A MULTINATIONAL company has had a huge positive impact on Bradford over the past financial year.

According to its annual results, professional services firm PwC has so far created 120 jobs in the city after opening an office in March.

That figure is double the staff numbers when the Bradford Assurance Centre first opened its doors six months ago.

Ian Morrison, PwC’s outgoing Yorkshire & North East Regional Leader, said: “Opening our new Assurance Centre in Bradford has demonstrated our commitment to helping to support inclusive growth by investing in Bradford drives right to the heart of our PwC Purpose and Social Mobility agenda.”

The centre is situated in 5 Godwin Street and has more than 9000 square feet of office space.

PwC is hoping to increase the number of job opportunities in Bradford to 225 in the coming years.

The firm also announced, as part of its annual report, that it increased its revenue for the year ended June 30, 2019, by 12 per cent.

That sees it hit a figure of £4,233 million.
