IT'S time to get your Chaii on after a new unique café open in Bradford.

Mi Chaii, in Great Horton Road, opened its doors at 5pm on Friday.

The new café will treat the masses of Bradford to authentic spiced tea, as well as providing a mouthwatering selection of foods - from breakfasts, to that which you might find on the streets of Pakistan.

Three different types of chai will be available to customers, as well as coffees and cold drinks.

Traditionally chai is made by blending black tea with a mixture of aromatic spices and herbs.

Mi Chaii's founding father arrived in 1964, bringing a traditional chai recipe with him and the menu reflects the family's favourites.

On the opening day, the first 50 customers were gifted a free drink on the house.

In the run up to the café's first official day, Operations Director Paul Morris ran a competition on the business's Facebook page and the winner was rewarded with a free meal for two.

Mi Chaii joins a host of other food businesses on Great Horton Road, such as Shimlas and Ice Stone Gelato.
