HOSPITAL staff, members of the public and school children will be dressed as superheroes as they abseil down the side of Bradford Royal Infirmary this Saturday.

More than 20 pupils from St Anthony’s Catholic Primary School, Clayton, will take part to raise money for the charity’s Rays a Smile Appeal. The appeal aims to raise £250,000 to make changes to radiology service areas and buy new equipment to make scans less scary for children.

Neonatal nurses Holly Eve and Carly Miller will be joined by family and friends to raise money for Bradford’s BIG Neonatal Appeal, which is raising money to build five extra bedrooms so parents can stay close to their babies in the Neonatal Unit.

Lord Mayor of Bradford, Cllr Doreen Lee will hand out medals at the abseil, taking place between 9.30am and 10.30am.
