AN ECO-ENGINEERED flooring underlay, which is made using recycled PET plastic bottles and other single-use plastics, is now being stocked in one of the UK’s leading flooring retailers.
SpringBond, manufactured by Bradford-based Texfelt, will now be available at retail giant Flooring Superstore – offering the innovative underlay both online and instore.
The new 10mm variation of SpringBond, known as Ocean 10, is made with more than 85% of the underlay made from recycled plastics.
James Taylor, Texfelt MD, said: “The world needs to reduce its plastic consumption now more than ever, and it’s our responsibility to lead the industry by creating greener alternatives to everyday domestic items. Growing our network with suppliers is a significant step towards combatting the millions of tonnes of single-use plastic wasted every year."
