THE SKIES of Bradford brightened up yesterday after the week got off to a rainy start with T&A reader Stephen Mitchinson capturing a rainbow behind Salts Mill in Saltaire.
And it looks like the district is set for even more sunshine over this weekend.
Workers can kick back on Friday evening with a maximum temperature of 16 degrees in Bradford and full sun from 7pm.
Saturday will begin with full sunshine, starting at temperatures of seven degrees, and reaching highs of 17 degrees by lunchtime.
The top temperature of the day will be 18 degrees around 4pm with a mix of sunny weather and clouds - cooling down to 15 degrees at around 7pm.
Sunday will start of with a mild temperature of 11 degrees with only a five percent chance of rain for most of the day. The temperature will peak at 17 degrees between 1pm and 4pm with a mix of sunshine and clouds.
All this before a 10 per cent chance of rain and temperatures of 15 degrees at 7pm.
Overall the district will see winds easing down with generally clear skies.
