THE Director of the Museum of Contemporary Rubbish will give a talk at a Bradford photographic gallery next week.

Impressions Gallery in City Park will welcome Alice Bradshaw on September 19, when she will give a talk on the crossover between art and waste.

The lunchtime talk, from 12.30pm to 1.30pm, links in with the gallery’s Our Plastic Ocean exhibition, which features images of plastic that has washed up on shores across the world.

Alice Bradshaw is an artist and writer with an interest in the use of rubbish in artwork. She has exhibited nationally and was recently artist in residence at Brighouse Household Waste Recycling Centre.

The talk is free, and for more information visit impressions-gallery.com.

Our Plastic Ocean, by Mandy Barker, runs until September 21.
