THE funeral of Pudsey teenager Courtney Chamberlain, who died from a suspected drugs overdose last month, is taking place tomorrow.

Courtney, 18, died after collapsing at The Warehouse nightclub in Leeds in the early hours of Monday, August 26.

Her funeral is taking place at St Lawrence’s Church, Pudsey, tomorrow at 1pm, and will be followed by a wake held at the Oracle bar in Leeds city centre.

Any donations are asked to be made to the miscarriage, stillbirth or death of a child charity 4Louis.

A GoFundMe page was set up following Courtney’s death to support her family, and has raised more than £2,800.

On it she was described as a “gorgeous, talented, amazing girl with a heart of gold” by family friend Geraldine Kennedy.

On Monday, August 26, at around 3am, she was rushed to Leeds General Infirmary by ambulance after collapsing at The Warehouse, but was pronounced dead a short time later.

A 19-year-old man arrested following Courtney's death on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs has been released under investigation, and police enquiries are ongoing.
