A TEENAGER has died after a late-night crash in Bradford.

Police were called at about 10:54pm yesterday to a collision on Wakefield Road heading into the city centre.

Three cars were involved in total, including a Renault Megane, a Volkswagen Transporter van and a Ford Transit.

A 18-year-old male, who was a passenger in the Megane, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tributes have been paid to the teen who has now been named.

The incident occurred when the Renault Megane was driving down Wakefield Road and was in collision with the Transporter.

The Transporter then struck a Ford Transit.

The crash was close to the major route's junctions with Neville Road and New Hey Road. 

Two males, both aged 17, and a third, aged 16, have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, according to a police spokesperson.

The spokesperson added: "Enquiries into the collision are continuing and anyone who witnessed it, or who may have dash cam footage which may assist the investigation is asked to contact police."
