A BARN will need rebuilding after the roof collapsed during a late-night blaze.
West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (WYFRS) were called to a fire at the farm just off Carr Lane, Dewsbury Moor, near Heckmondwike Road, at around 10:40pm.
Five pumps attended, including two from Dewsbury Fire Station, and one each from Cleckheaton, Raistrick and Ossett.
The barn - around 10 by 30 metres in size - was full of hay.
Six large jets were used to try extinguish the fire, with 100 per cent of the building involved.
But, there was substantial damage and the roof came in, according to a WYFRS spokesman.
There were no injuries, and no animals, livestock or humans involved.
The spokesman added: "It was reasonably remote and difficult to get water to, but we did."
