POLICE are investigating after an attempted burglary earlier today.
Officers were called at 2.25pm to a house in Oakdale Terrace in Wibsey.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Four suspects wearing balaclavas are believed to have attended the address in a dark coloured VW Golf before being disturbed and making away from the address.
"Officers are conducting CCTV enquiries in the area.
"Any witnesses or anyone with information as to those responsible is asked to contact the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 0978 of 09/09.
"Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555 111."
