BUSINESS will continue as usual at Bradford Goals for the time being after the company was put up for sale.

A buyer is yet to be found after the football pitch operator put itself on the market in late August.

But, the centre's future remains up-in-the-air after a spokesperson for Goals confirmed it is too early in the process to say what is happening.

They added: "It's important to bear in mind that it's business as usual.

"Game-time is up and trade is up as well.

"We're performing really well.

"We're just at the start of this process and we're hoping for a good solution for all."

Bradford Goals - based on Kings Road, near Five Lane Ends - is the only centre in the city and runs popular leagues on Mondays and Thursday.

This move onto the market comes just under a month after the company's former chief executive, Keith Rogers, and finance chief, Bill Gow, were accused of fraud.

The spokesperson said: "Goals with Deloitte are contacting various people in the market to see what the appetite is for the business.

"It might be someone wants to buy the whole thing or parts of it."
