The Forums will provide an opportunity to highlight priorities and meet local Ward Councillors along with officers from Bradford Council’s Neighbourhood Service and Bradford East Neighbourhood Police Team, who will be able to answer questions and offer advice on local neighbourhood and policing issues.

Attendees will also be able to find out about crime prevention, such as home security and Neighbourhood Watch and learn how to can get involved in the local community.

There will also be the opportunity to tell the council about any local priorities, ideas or issues.

Councillor Abdul Jabar, Bradford Council’s Executive Member for Neighbourhoods and Community Safety said: “I hope people take this chance to come and meet with the teams, to learn how to keep safe and inform us of any concerns they may have.”

Inspector John Toothill, who leads the Bradford East Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We look forward to meeting with the people of Idle and Thackley and discussing how we, and our partner agencies, can work together to address their concerns.

“Anyone unable to attend either of these meetings can get in touch with the team via email at or through our Facebook and Twitter accounts.”
