Police have stepped up patrols at a business park in the district amid concerns about nuisance drivers.

The anti-social use of vehicles at Sapper Jordan Rossi Park, in Baildon, has drawn complaints.

Now police have warned motorists who gather at the location that they could receive a Section 59 warning or even have their vehicle seized.

Police have not revealed exact details of the incidents at Sapper Jordan Rossi Park, but there have been numerous incidents in other parts of the country where business parks have been used at night by boy racers who meet to compare cars, rev engines and perform handbrake turns or drifts.

Sergeant Green, of the local neighbourhood policing team, tweeted; “Complaints about Sapper Jordan Rossi Park and ASB drivers. Patrolling with @WYP_BingleyPC on Friday evening. No cars present but any found causing ASB will win a Section 59 warning or maybe a seizure.”
