HAWORTH has celebrated a twinning milestone.
The village staged two days of activities marking the 10th anniversary of its link-up with Machu Picchu, in Peru.
VIP guests joined villagers at the event.
There was an official signing of a new agreement between the two villages, as Haworth Twinning Group and its Peruvian counterparts re-affirmed the bond and pledged to further strengthen links – particularly between the schools.
The ceremony was held in the Old School Room, with Deputy Lord Mayor of Bradford, Cllr Shabir Hussain, and local parish council chairman Cllr David Mahon seen in this photo by John Sargent.
Meanwhile, Top Peruvian chef Martin Morales gave a demonstration.
