LOCAL rising talent is set to take to the stage at Keighley Pride next weekend, the first Pride event to be held in the town in its history.

Singer-songwriter Izak Wilkinson, from Bingley, will bring his acoustic tunes to the event as he performs at the Pride After-Party.

He will take to the stage at Central Hall, in Alice Street, at 7.45pm on Saturday, September 14, after a colourful day of celebration and joy in the town.

The event had previously been due to take place at Victoria Hall, but the festivities have now been moved to Central Hall.

The Pride event will be hosted by Keighley’s own Marigold Addams, and will also feature performances by Smashby, Claire Mooney, Ruth Nielsen, Playing for Kicks , Mysti Valentine and Haworth Ukelele Group.

Celebrations begin at 2pm and are free to attend, with the after-party starting at 7pm, and tickets cost £5.
