COUNCILLORS will be given a presentation on a new brand that "truly reflects the people of Bradford."

The Bradford Stronger Communities Partnership has created a new logo and brand for its work called "Bradford For Everyone".

Members will tell the Bradford East Area Committee at a meeting tonight that they have prepared a list of "values" for the district which will form part of Bradford's bid for City of Culture 2025.

The "District Values" will open for public consultation from later this month.

Efforts to bring communities together 'must not ignore people of no faith' - councillor warns

A report to the Area Committee will detail the branding for the Bradford For Everyone scheme. It says the new logo had to be "attractive," resonate with people and "not fall into the cliches of white roses or linked people or hands."

It says the logo is made up of threads that "make a heart shape, the letter B and is a colourful and simple logo which works across all mediums."

The presentation on the programme will show the logo on bus stops, signs at Leeds Bradford Airport, bus shelters, and clothing like caps and hoodies.

The committee meets in City Hall at 6pm tonight.
