Musharaf Asghar, who stole the nation's heart in Educating Yorkshire
STAR of Channel 4’s Educating Yorkshire Musharaf Asghar is speaking at an event later this month on work done by businesses in schools.
Mushy, whose battle to overcome his stammer was one of the most moving storylines in the hit series, will speak at the NYBEP event at Kala Sangam on Tuesday, September 17.
It will focus on his experiences in education and how businesses can have a positive impact on schoolchildren.
The event will promote the Successful Futures programme, and hear from Saltaire based Switch2 Energy on how working in schools benefits the company.
NYBEP’s Successful Futures programme saw 349 volunteers from businesses work with 9,000 students at 23 schools and colleges in Bradford.
