A NEW fleet of shiny electric trains are set to arrive in Bradford, making it one of the first places in the north to get the services.
From Monday, September 9, brand new electric trains will operate along Northern railway lines between Bradford, Leeds, Skipton and Ilkley.
More services connecting Bradford with York and Blackpool, and along the Calder Valley towards Manchester Victoria and Chester will be introduced before the end of the year.
Bradford is one of the first places in the North to benefit from Northern's new fleet of state-of-the-art electric trains.
The new Class 331 trains are being unveiled this morning at Bradford Forster Square, as carriages of VIPs take a trip from Bradford to Skipton and back.
