Three fire crews put out a fire in Girlington after it broke out in a woman's bedroom.
Crews from Bradford, Shipley and Fairweather Green tackled the blaze on St Leonards Road after getting the call out at 13.33pm yesterday afternoon.
The female resident was taken to hospital to for smoke inhalation treatment.
Firefighters used one hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation fan to make sure the fire was out and that all smoke was removed.
