The slide at Keighley Leisure Centre has been temporarily closed pending repairs.
The closure came after Council officers inspected the large slide in the centre's swimming pool, part of which runs outside of the main building.
A Bradford Council spokesperson said: “Following an inspection we have temporarily closed the slide at the Leisure Centre.
"We are prioritising the repairs and the slide will reopen as soon as possible. Once we have a date for the repair to be completed we will make an announcement.”
The pool at the Leisure Centre, Keighley is still open, along with other pools throughout the district.
A spokesman added: "Ilkley Lido is open and given the warm weather forecast for the Bank Holiday weekend is a great option for a day out."
