It isn't the only homage to the "hero" officer taking place around Bradford.
The Trail Snails, a Bingley-based running group, will jog 7.605km in his memory this Bank Holiday Monday.
The team, which has raised £10,000 so far, will give all funds to the Just Giving page for PC Harper and UK COPS.
The runners are inviting people to run or walk the distance wherever they are in the country, whatever time they like.
Entry costs £6 via Racebest.
