FORMER Bradford City players returned to the pitch to raise more than £1,600 for a dementia charity.
The match, held last weekend, featured City stars such as Wayne Jacobs and Jamie Lawrence (pictured, with fellow ex-player Alan "Gilly" Gilliver), Lee Duxbury, Gregg Abbott, Gary Jones, Graham Tomlinson and Edinho, who came over from Portugal.
The match was organised by Chris Moralee from Supporting Charities Football Club (SCFC) for Pathways, which helps people with early onset dementia. "Chris is a City fan and is aware of Gilly's dementia so offered to help raise funds," said Christine Gilliver.
"Over 350 people attended and Bradford City Legends were the winners, beating SCFC 3-2. John Helm was our commentator and also held an auction at the event. We've still got donations to come in. It was a great day."
