A CITY centre bank has raised £3,800 for charity thanks to the support of its customers, staff and visitors on its fundraising day.
The team at NatWest Bradford, in Market Street, held a series of activities in aid of charity Islamic Relief, which provides international humanitarian relief and development programmes in more than 30 countries.
As part of the day, stalls, a bake sale and raffle were held in the branch, and local firm Oasis Limousines brought along a Ferrari and a Rolls-Royce.
Rachel Middleton, from NatWest said: “We are absolutely thrilled that so many people have supported our fundraising efforts for Islamic Relief.
“It’s a testament to the generous spirit of the Bradford community which we are proud to be a part of.
“We thank everyone who donated for their generosity and we also thank Oasis Limousines and all of the staff at our Broadway branch for their support.”
Islamic Relief director Tufail Hussain thanked NatWest for its “touching generosity”.
