TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a suspected shooting which occurred in Holme Wood on August 3.
Inspector Tom Harrison, of West Yorkshire Police, said at the time that there had been a shotgun discharge towards a vehicle.
Regarding this morning's arrests, West Yorkshire Police said: "At around 2am today, a pre-planned firearms operation was carried out in the Holme Wood area.
"Two men aged 25 and 29 were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and were taken into custody.
"The arrests were in relation to a suspected firearms discharge in Broadstone Way on August 3.
"Several addresses were also secured for further searches as enquiries continue."
