WEST Yorkshire Police have renewed an appeal for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision last month.
The collision happened at 10.58pm on Saturday, July 13 on Stanningley Road, at the junction with Armley Grange Drive, in Leeds.
The collision was involving a blue Skoda Fabia and a pedestrian, 30-year-old Shane Grimes.
Mr Grimes, from Bramley, sadly died at the scene of the collision.
The Skoda had been travelling away from Leeds towards the Stanningley bypass. The driver, a 20-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He was later released under investigation pending further enquiries.
Detectives in the Force’s Major Collision Enquiry Team are appealing for any witnesses who have yet to speak to officers to contact police.
