A NURSERY in Great Horton has slipped to requires improvement following a recent Ofsted inspection.
Dracup Lodge Day Nursery had previously been rated Good.
In the report, Ofsted said: “The provider does not provide suitable space for babies and very young children.
“The provider does not always ensure that children have access to a healthy, well balanced diet.
“Occasionally, parents are not fully involved in identifying what their children already know and can do when they first start at the setting.”
It was praised in some areas by inspectors, including for its partnerships with families, how well it monitors children’s progress, and the good progress all children make.
