A HOSPITAL trust has responded after a social media post alleging a patient was dragged out of A&E at the Bradford Royal Infirmary and left on the street outside emerged.
When the Telegraph & Argus raised the post and accompanying photograph with the Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, a spokesperson said in response: “We are aware that a member of the public who is known to us features in a Facebook post currently being circulated."
The spokesperson added: “We would like to assure people that no incident occurred, no-one has made a complaint to the Trust, no staff have acted inappropriately and we do not need to take any action in relation to this.
"Due to patient confidentiality we are unable to disclose any further details.”
It comes as some staff at the hospital are embroiled in strike action against the creation of a 'wholly-owned subsidiary company'.
