A POPULAR lantern parade will return to Lister Park in Manningham this Autumn.
Listers Lanterns has become one of the most popular events in the park’s calendar, and sees a parade of hundreds of lanterns through the park - including many made by local community groups.
It is organised by local arts group Cecil Green Arts, and the group has now announced the date of this year’s event - Friday November 1.
The group usually holds a series of community workshops in the run up to the event so people are able to make their own lanterns.
Cecil Green Arts was based at Drummonds Mill until the building burned down in early 2016.
The group is currently based at a temporary space on Darley Street.
The event will start at 6.30pm.
