The Santander branch in Pudsey has now fully-reopened after it was targeted in a ram raid this Monday.

The ram raid, which took place at around 2.15am, is the second incident at the bank in over a year.

Police were called to the scene after reports of significant damage to the front window caused by a van.

Two suspects got out of the van but did not enter the bank - instead making off in a silver car being driven by a third suspect.

A spokesperson for Santander said: "We can confirm that our Pudsey branch has now fully re-opened.

"We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused while it was closed and look forward to welcoming our customers back in branch soon."
