EARLIER this year, PwC announced that it had opened a new Assurance Centre in Bradford. The centre has been created to help PwC continue to provide quality and exceptional client service in changing times, standardising work in key areas of our engagements to be able to use technology effectively through automation.

When the centre opened in March 2019, at 5 Godwin Street, Bradford, PwC announced that it had initially created sixty jobs, this has already risen to eighty, with the potential to increase this number to 225 - creating further job opportunities in the city over the next few years.

Continuing with this commitment, PwC is delighted to announce that, over the summer, it will be looking to recruit a further sixty people. The positions are Client Service Administrators roles, focusing on audit. No prior experience or attainment levels are required and full training will be provided.

Ideally PwC is looking for school-leaver-aged pupils with a real aptitude to learn who are interested in a career with PwC. Career progression opportunities will be available as well as the option to work towards a professional qualification.

Will Richardson, PwC’s Leeds Office Senior Partner, commented: “Our PwC Assurance Centre is one of our key priorities in delivering a best-in-class proposition as one of the world’s leading, professional services firms.

“Not only does it offer our people the opportunity to work more flexibly and help reduce the travel required, they will also gain great experience working with a breadth of nationally-based clients from SMEs to large corporations.

“Creating these opportunities helps to break down the traditional stereotype that in professional services you need a qualification or certain attainment level to build a career and succeed. Helping to support inclusive growth by investing in Bradford drives right to the heart of our PwC Purpose and Social Mobility agenda.”
