Firefighters were called to Swain House Road
A BUILD up of oil on a grill pan and oven caused a kitchen fire.
Firefighters were called to a property on Swain House Road, Swain House, at 3.40pm. where the build up had caught fire when the electric oven was switched on.
A smoke alarm was fitted in the house, which notified the occupant and he was able to get out and call the fire service.
Firefighters removed the grill pan and took it from the house.
No-one was injured.
