HAT-TRICKS galore saw Keighley Albion Ladies continue their unbeaten run at home and go top of League One on points difference following victory over Rochdale Hornets.

Captain Jodee Loader opened up the scoring for Albion with a short range dive over Rochdale’s line. Emma Templeton with extras.

There were some new faces for hosts Albion including mother (Lisa Thompson) and daughter Isla.

Some new signings from Burnley RFU made an impact in the middle of the park for the hosts, some great attacking play from sisters Nikola and Rachel.

A flurry of tries came with three players from the Albion claiming hat-tricks, Emma Templeton, Loader and Saima Hussain.

Two tries also came from Sarah Shillito. A solo effort try also from Sarah Cartwright.

Rochdale did manage to get a single consolation try out wide.

Special mention to Viki Brown on her Albion debut game and also Hollie Feather who has recently returned to the Keighley side. Also a thank you to Anneka Aspland and Kelly Wood, who travelled from Hull and York to play and made some great impact runs and tackles. Player of the match went to Hussain.

Templeton also added the extras to eight tries making the final score 64-4 to the hosts.

Albion are away to Halifax this Sunday.
