BRADFORD’S annual Apple Day is looking for new volunteers in the run up to the October’s event.
Bradford Environmental Education Service organises the event, which takes place in Bowling Community Orchard each Autumn.
This year’s Apple Day - the 20th, takes place on Sunday October 13.
It will feature talks, information and advice about growing apples, as well as the chance to buy apple themed food including apple cakes, falapple, fresh juice, jams, chutneys and basic apples.
There will also be games and apple activities.
Next week the group is holding an event for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer to help organise and run activities on the day.
The session takes place in Record Cafe on North Parade at 6pm on Tuesday August 6.
