TWO teenagers have been charged following a burglary in Cleckheaton and a number of crimes in Bradford.

A property on Knowles Lane, in Cleckheaton, was raided overnight between Monday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 9 and two teens, aged 17 and 18, were arrested and both were charged.

The 17-year-old boy was charged in connection with a number of burglaries in the Bradford area.

Stephen Tordoff, aged 18, from Bradford, was charged with handling stolen goods from the burglary in Cleckheaton and a 17-year-old from Leeds, was charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of attempted burglary and fraud connected to the Cleckheaton burglary and a number in Bradford.

Tordoff appeared in court on July 25 and pleaded guilty to two counts of being carried in a vehicle that was taken without consent, dangerous driving, burglary, fraud by false representation and handling stolen goods.

He will be sentenced at Bradford Crown Court on Thursday, August 15.

The 17-year-old was remanded in custody and appeared in court on Monday.

He has been remanded until Tuesday, August 27.
