HIGHWAYS England has given notice of planned roadworks on the motorway network in the district over the coming week.
On the M606, the southbound to the westbound link of the M62 at junction 26, Chain Bar, will be fully closed overnight from 8pm to 6am on Wednesday, July 31, for gantry paining work.
The westbound exit sliproad on the M62 at Chain Bar will also be closed overnight on the same night for gantry painting work.
Drivers are being reassured that clearly signed diversion routes will be in place to follow.
For those heading further east, notice is being made that junction 29 of the M62 at Lofthouse will be closed overnight on Thursday, August 1, between 8pm and 6am for technology work.
Again, drivers are being given diversion routes to follow.
