NELL Bank Outdoor Learning Centre is inviting members of the public to its Summer Family Adventure day.
The day offers entertainment suitable for all the family, with three adventure trails, water play and the adventure playground. Families are invited to bring a picnic and take in the scenery of the Ilkley Moors or stop by the café area for a selection of homemade bakes.
Tickets cost £3 per person with all money raised going to the Nell Bank Charitable Trust, which is dedicated to supporting disadvantaged children and continuing to develop the site and activities.
The event will take place at the Nell Bank Centre, Denton Road, Ilkley, on Saturday from 10am to 3pm.

Hats in the ring as Yorkshire Day contest returns to BradfordDan Goodey, Centre Manager at Nell Bank, said: “We are incredibly excited to host another Family Adventure Day here at Nell Bank. Last year was a massive success, raising £2,790 for the Nell Bank Charitable Trust and has enabled us to continue taking the classroom outside, encouraging all our children to learn loudly through play and imagination.”
Councillor Imran Khan, Portfolio Holder for Education, Employment and Skills, said: “The Family Adventure Fun day at Nell Bank is a fantastic opportunity for families to experience our district’s truly beautiful countryside and to learn and have fun on the adventure trails, water play and adventure playground.”
