A WOMAN was seriously injured in a crash in the early hours of Sunday.
It happened at around 3.54am on Allerton Lane, outside Edgefield.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "A Ford Fiesta was travelling along Allerton Lane towards the direction of Bracewell Avenue.
"The car mounted the pavement and went through a fence and into a tree.
"A 28-year-old female, who was a passenger, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
