THE impact plastic has on the environment will be shown by Yorkshire Water at this weekend’s Bradford Science Festival.
The ‘Plastic Lab’ will be set up in the National Science and Media Museum as part of the firm’s anti-plastic campaign, and there will also be a tap water bar.
The water bar replaces plastic bottled water at the festival, providing 3,000 litres of free Yorkshire Water.
Water saving packs will also be available.
Bradford Science Festival launch marks 50 years since Moon landingNicole Jones, from Yorkshire Water, said: “We’re expect thousands of people to flock to our water bar to pull a pint of the best water in the country.
“We’re asking people to bring their own bottle and we’ll also be promoting the importance of using water wisely in the home.”
