A THORNTON teacher has received a Hall of Fame award for her exceptional commitment to her pupils.
Rosie Beavers (pictured), from Beckfoot Thornton Academy, was nominated by The Transformation Trust for her work with them and her pupils.
The social mobility charity aims to help pupils from deprived backgrounds develop new skills and discover their talents.
It launched the Hall of Fame Awards to recognise exceptional commitment from individual teachers at the 1,300 state secondary schools it works with.
Amy Leonard, chief executive, Transformation Trust, said: “We are delighted to place Rosie in our Hall of Fame in recognition of her exceptional commitment to making sure her students have access to a range of opportunities.”
