A PLOT of land behind a former pub with planning permission for housing has sold at auction.
Plans to build 10 homes on a plot of land off Leeds Road in Thackley were approved by Bradford Council in 2016, but the development never commenced.
The 0.96 acre site includes the former beer garden and car park area at the Shoulder of Mutton pub, which itself has recently been converted into housing.

The site went under the hammer at a Pugh Property auction at Leeds United’s grounds on Thursday, with a guide price of £350,000.
It ended up selling for £400,000. The winning bidder has not been disclosed.
The listing described the land as being located in the “sought after Village of Thackley.”
